custom touring in namibia

Namibia, lying on the west coast of Africa,  boasts remarkable natural attractions such as the Namib Desert, the Fish River Canyon, Etosha National Park, The Skeleton Coast and the Kalahari Desert. Conde Nast Traveller, one of the world’s premier travel magazines, recently listed the Namib Desert as the tenth most beautiful place in the world. The Namib Desert has been around for about 43 million years and is a large expanse of moving gravel plains and dunes of all shapes and sizes spanning the 2,000 km coastlines of Namibia and its neighbours.

A wonderfully restful way to visit Namibia is by train. We offer two railway journeys through this amazing country, aboard the SHONGOLOLO EXPRESS, now operated by ROVOS RAIL: Westbound from Pretoria to Walvis Bay or Eastbound from Walvis Bay to Pretoria.

If train travel is not for you, there are many road packages available, including self drive options, depending on time and category of accommodation.

Entry Requirements - GREAT NEWS!
As at 29 August 2022, the Namibia Government has eased entry requirements into Namibia for foreign travelers. Travelers can now enter the country without having to show a vaccination card OR negative PCR test result. We are confident you all welcome this great news which allows hassle-free entry into Namibia.
